In 2001, she earned a Certificate in Business Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara before moving north to California’s Mendocino Coast. After working in a CPA’s office for a few years, Judy started her own bookkeeping business which she grew for the next ten years. During this time, she was active with two local non-profits, Habitat for Humanity of the Mendocino Coast and Mendocino Area Parks Association, eventually joining the latter as an accounting manager.
Having vacationed in Florida most years to visit her family, in 2019 Judy decided on a permanent move to Sarasota. At Seven Funds, Judy handles all aspects of accounting for its portfolio of companies.
